Elderberry Season

As the title of this blog suggests, I have always been fond of elderflower. Growing up we used to have a whole load of it in our garden and nearby in the wilderness so typically during the summer we would harvest a lot of it and make elderflower cordial. These days the cordial is a bit too sweet for my tastes but I still love the smell and taste of elderflower so as summer was coming around I was excited to finally harvest some for myself.

One smoked cheese

For a bit of fun, my partner and I decided to add a cheese selection box to our food shop. A dissection on what I regard to be fun is outside the scope of this blogpost, but nevertheless I was looking forward to having a selection of cheeses to enjoy over the next week or so. Behold, as I describe the contents of the cheese selection:

Soup for breakfast

I've been having soup for breakfast recently and it's been pretty good.

Continual improvement

Continual improvement has been something on my mind recently. In large part, I think it's a reaction to the increasingly widespread usage of Large Language Models which I have the misfortune of hearing every day. Over time, it's solidified into something of a mindset I hold and believe is important in the (theoretically) coming age of automation.

Creating a blog

The idea of creating a blog has been on my mind for some time, but two things have so far delayed me in creating one.
